About Us

The Knoll Care Partnership has a proven track record in offering high quality care at affordable prices. We have been operating in Trafford for over 25 years and our Homes have an excellent reputation locally. Please see our links page to be taken to our latest CQC reports.

Our homes work hard to maintain a homely and welcoming atmosphere, with genuinely friendly and compassionate carers available to you 24 hours a day.

The Knoll Care Partnership welcomes both male and female service users who suffer with those conditions generally associated with old age, particularly those suffering with dementia.  We pride ourselves and are well known for our caring approach and our expertise with those suffering dementia and needing extra support. All our team have a high level of dementia training.

We have a high staff retention rate with many of our staff having been with us for more than 10 years. We spend a lot of time ensuring all staff have undertaken appropriate training. It is a condition of employment that all staff secure a QCF (NVQ) qualification, as well training in Dementia Awareness, Food Hygiene, Moving & Handling, Infection Control and Safeguarding. Alongside these courses there are many more which our staff are encouraged to undertake and regularly do – just take a look at our certificates for more examples.

Our homes operate an online Care Management System, through which care plans and risk assessments for all our residents are available to carers at the touch of a button, enabling a real focus on person-centred care.

Thoughts of our Customers

  • My Sister has been a resident firstly at The Knoll and now at Bowfell House since September 2019. From the first moment we visited the staff shone like a beacon on a very dark day. Their sense of commitment, empathy and dedication was palpable. We felt they were in a class of their own. The understanding shown to me and all my sister's family as we faced the very difficult decision to entrust our Sister to their care has been…

    Sister of a Resident

  • My mother has only been a resident in Bowfell house since mid-November and we have had nothing but exceptional care and service from all the team starting with the warm welcoming smile on arrival from Vicky to the housekeepers. The carers have cared for mum with dignity and warmth which has been a blessing for my sister and myself. It is good to know who to speak to with any feedback but so far everything is fabulous
